I've yet to drive a truck with the ADM applied. But the two trucks compared to each other completely stock, the 3rd Gen feels better. Except occasionally, the clutch pops or it engages too slow shifting to second.

I got right at 300K on my '06 factory clutch. The clutch pad itself was worn, but still had material on it. Something was wrong with my pressure plate which caused my truck to not drive anymore. Thankfully, I have a brand new clutch in it now!

    Oh. Even worse.

So, a 2nd Gen AT in a 3rd Gen MT thread. That some serious envy.

At the rate I drive, I should hit 300k miles in 7, so I can try to remember to put an update around then :D

even the new 3rd gen manual transmissions and clutches are very well made and robust from the factory as good or better than some previous GENs they will go well over 250k-300k miles without anything but routine maintainence, proven track record of reliability behind all Toyota truck products;)
