Yea that one is going to be a problem, you should compare the size of that compressor to an ARB twin, then I will measure for you and see if you can fit a mount like I have instead, but for your compressor.

Yea, I don't think that would work, the 9 is the issue, I'll check for sure tomorrow morning.

I may still get their bracket and just cut it up some to route a hose underneath it.

Love this! I hard mounted a Viair there and will have to fab a new mount, but I am doing this. Had a few crossings last year that were pretty deep. Been looking for something for peace of mind.

Some people have asked about how snow effects the snorkel. Works just fine.

Finally knocked mine out today. Thanks OP! Decided to use the flex line instead of the solid pipe too. Just made everything easier and less expensive for me, ha. About $50 total with parts and that hole saw. Waiting for that RTV to set is the worst part, messy too.

Kind of hard to see but it's in there.

Just did the cowl intake last weekend. Two things I notice are more intake noise on heavy throttle (cool) but possibly a little power loss (not cool). Anyone else feel a difference in power after doing this?

Such a well done mod and good write up. I had seen this done, but not on a 3rd gen. For the fender plug, are you guys just epoxying/RTVing the plug into the hole? Any differende doing it closer to the fender opening versus in the airbox?

Yep siliconed the plug, I actually did both the fender hole and the hole in the airbox (both 4in caps) that way it keeps stuff out of the engine bay.
