I have been getting a rattle on the passenger side of my dash that has been driving me bonkers. This video below shows the exact sound I'm hearing. The author of the video stated that the issue was resolved by installing felt on the glove box since it was rattling against the dash as a result of not enough clearance. Installed felt on the inside of the glove box but it still is making the same noise. Was wondering if anyone has experienced the same sound and issue before and found it was coming from something else.

    Thanks in advance.

Beautiful lining...can that be felt? Sorry...Three Stooges type of humor this morning.
I carry a tape measure in my glove compartment. It rattles if not in just the *perfect* place. First world problems.

It can be two things. One is A- pillar to dash, a piece of felt in-between where they meet. Second is light sensor.

While I cant hear it, its 99% of the time what @na8rboy said. If you ignore it long enough, it will start to blend in with all the other dash rattles you will get in a few years.

Throwing this out there in case its of any help: I thought I had a dash rattle, but it ended up coming from the roof controls (craw control panel). A firm press up fixes it for me. If it's definitely the dash, disregard me.

It's likely occurring from contact between the speaker cover and "A" pillar. I believe this sound has been discussed in a few previous forum posts.

I cut a piece of black ziptie bent it in half, stuffed it between a- pillar and speaker grill, noise gone and it sits in tight unseen.

The dash rattle is one of the many quirks and features. If you try and chase the source you'll be led down an endless rabbit hole of squeaks and rattles. Just turn up the music!
