I feel your pain, Everyone jumps on the bandwagon of you have a bug on your windshield its going to cost you 3mpg alone, mud, tires, elevation, going to cost you another 6mpg, then finally its a truck get used to it. Cracks me up, I own Fords and Dodges and when a 3/4 ton gasser with 35 inch tires gets almost as good as a Taco with 33s and the same driver says alot in my book. My tacoma is going down the road soon, it only has 7k miles because I refuse to drive it.

Yea. I was trying to put both. I had the 11 but I traded it in for the 16. I'll just remove the 11 now. Lol.

22 or 24 mpg. I drive pretty conservatively. Try to never accelerate quickly or stop abruptly. But meh. I love my Tacoma either way.

As I stated in another thread I'm surprised the Gen 3 3.5L seems to be topping out at 20 or so. I like the looks. I'm sure the warranty or TSBs will fix the niggling, repetitive problems.

I really need to stop reading these critical reviews, even if they are honest and founded. I am delicate and I start second guessing my Tacoma when I see this. Ever since someone mentioned the 2nd gen seats were slightly uncomfortable for tall people, I have had chronic back pain, mental anguish, flash backs and night terrors... well that's a lie, but you get the idea.

 

I don't even know what the topic of this thread is anymore.
