Dude, you are over thinking this. Change your oil---or don't. Either way, your engine is fine.

Is there a reason why Toyota doesnt offer a OEM fluid for the Manual Transmission?

I'm also interested just went over 120,000 miles time to flush . If it's a pain in the butt I'll have Toyota do it .

Post #1 in this thread has the info for fluids. I don't know about Johnsen's power steering fluid, might be the best stuff. I will be using a quality Dexron II or III when I flush my power steering unit. Robert

Consider getting a fluid extractor like shown in post 926. It makes it really easy.

I can send the link to what i used but i believe what i used is ATF Dex 2/3 Synthetic fluid. I got it at an autoparts store, i just got a good brand synthetic fluid. I used a syringe to extract the fluid in the reservoir, poured in new/fresh fluid. Drove it a week or 2, extracted the fluid again and refilled fresh fluid. I did it a few times and the fluid started to come out clear.

It takes a little time, but didn't require any significant flushing or anything like that

Edit: This is what i used https://www.valvoline.com/en-thailand/our-products/automatic-transmission-oil/atf-dexron
When i went to toyota to get PS fluid he tried to give me something that wasn't Dex II or III and when i asked him about it he said "this is what we use in all our vehicles"

I've had two extractors over the years. This is what I'm currently using. It's pretty reasonably priced.

This is similar to my first extractor. I liked it better, but it's a bit more expensive.
