Look at the code on the black sticker in your door jamb. It will have the transmission code, transfer case code, diff code, color code, etc. Match that up with your owners manual. If that doesn't get you what you need, let me know.

Just looked at manual. Looks like you'd be buying 6qts of fluid total for front and rear. 1.6 qts front and either 4 or 4.2 for the rear.

I checked the jam sticker and here's what I found. Did not see any of these model codes on the owners manual list.

You said TRD OFF-road AT right? And your sticker has AC60F transmission so 4WD right? Which means front diff and rear locking diff and
GRN305L-PRTSHA is the model code for your truck. So in the manual you'll see the footnote

*4: Except for GRN330L-PRTSHA, GRN330L-PRTLHA, GRN310L-PRTSHA and GRN310L-PRTLHA models with rear differential lock system

*4 footnote is 4.0 qts for the rear diff. Pretty convoluted, but that's what I'd go with. Either way, you won't really need the exact qty since you can probably only buy redline in qts so 6 qts and you'll be good to replace front and rear.

Yes I do have the off-road 4x4 AT. Yes Toyota does not make it very clear onto which models get what. I ordered just 3 qts of oil from autoanything. Looks like I'll need to add 1 more qt to my order.

    I appreciate your help

Exactly. I checked the fluid level and it felt pretty low. I'm just done trying to mess with dealers. I figure do it myself and do it right.

A 5 qt painters bucket is good to use to measure what comes out. You could even take pictures/video and get it documented with Toyota if it was low.

Good call, I should make a vid and post on here for other members who might have similar concerns with their diff fluid being low.

Hey guys, two quick questions that might both be "stupid"

    1) How long will the grease in my grease gun stay good? Do I need to clean it out and use new grease before my next U-joint lube?
    2) How are you guys cleaning your shop rags? Do you just wash them in the family washing machines? or do you pre-clean them with a solvent first? I have a pile of grease and ATF soaked rags that I'm not exactly sure is the best way to clean.

Not sure if this is the best place, but how many PCV's are there on this truck and where are they located? Been trying to search through google but not much help, perhaps how new the truck is.

These have one PCV valve. The lower left and right of this picture where I've attached aftermarket hose to the inlet and outlet. The valve itself is in the back right side of engine under a foam pad/ sound dampener.

Awesome, thanks you. I am thinking of adding a catch can to help prevent and slow carbon build up on the intake valves. Now I just need to find a quality can.

I use the ADD W1 and its a nice setup. You have to make a bracket to install it in the engine bay, along with adding an o-ring on the dip stick and some stainless steel mesh into its filter housing. All easy and cheap enough to do.
