My dealership knew nothing about the TSB for it and had yet to contact me. I guess I'll bring it up in the next service so they have no choice.

Nice write up. About 4.5 years late for me.

Always, always take a copy of the TSB in with you when you go for service. Saves you an extra step.

It's much easier to pull the trim and door seal up than spray water everywhere. It will be straight and you need to clean under the seal anyway.

I used a heat gun when I installed mine. This made bending the edge much easier, just use a medium temperature.

1" rear drop. Currently sits 34.5" in the front and 35.0" in the rear.
Will the 3rd gen sill protector fit on a 2nd gen? I really like how it overlaps a little bit.

I know this thread is super old, but...just installed mine, anyone know what happens to the moisture trapped underneath the protectors? I used the wet method like OP, went on amazingly, no bubbles, got all the water/air out. However, there's got to be residual moisture under there. I am sure this is a normal and trusted decal application method, I see it all the time for PPF etc. But for all those categories, where does the water go? Not big pockets but like the really small residual amount?

I did install the 3rd gen sill protector on my 2nd gen and it fits great. The overlap actually protects even better than the old 2nd gen protectors.
