3rd gen emissions testing

So guess my truck is up for emissions testing . Just a bit over 4 years old at 60k miles . Anything I should be aware of or add to pass ? I haven’t done an emissions test since I was in high school lol . Never kept vehicles that long .

 

What state are you in? In commiefornia if it’s older than 2000 they’ll put it on the dyno and do a sniffer test if it’s past 2000 they just plug into the obd2 but they do a visual for both so all your smog equipment needs to be on there

In my area of Oregon the inspection fee is $25 dollars. I have never had a Toyota fail the inspection. Not sure if that is because of my great maintenance job or low inspection standards. Every time I renew my tags, I do feel like it’s a Money Grab to get $25 more dollars from me.
