Does your truck have NAV? I believe the harness is different. Did you get the little harness that connects the HU to the nav unit?

My truck does have factory nav. I kinda prematrued ordered a harness for a head unit that doesn’t have it. I’m waiting to hear from auto harness. Maybe I can just delete that system and use the harness I have ordered.

    Hello!

Can anyone help me move over to Entune 3.0? I have a 2019 ORD with a Panasonic 81600-04163. The Navigation seems to work without a phone connection, and I had the HU out today, but I don't recall seeing a GPS box. I have satellite radio, but I let it expire after the intro. I was advised that I must have a GPS box to have NAV without a phone, I don't see the box but was able to use the NAV without a phone. I have seen GPS displayed on the screen. Am I missing something here? I am trying to fine the correct Entune 3.0 radio to move over. Thanks!

Yup that head unit has built in nav and a separate nav box. When you first take it out of the truck it’s bolted onto the head unit with a bracket so it might seem like one all in unit.

The one you want is 86140-04200 * and you want the nav box for it as well, along with the upgrade wiring harness and usb harness. I have that in my 2019 ORD with the built in nav.

    * maybe 86140-04250 will also work pending confirmation from Captbrad88

Thanks! I must have missed the box being bolted on. If I were to purchase a 86140-04200 is it generally sold with the NAV box, or would that be separate? These OEM units are ridiculous in price. I already assume I can't use the box on the 04163.

It’s hit or miss, some include it, many do not. Best bets imo are another tw member, also fb marketplace, craigs, and ebay from smaller seller.

I picked up a entune 3.0 off a Canadian brother on the forums. His unit is a pioneer 86140-04250 has the nav unit, and got the harness everything works but it won’t default out of KM I can change it to miles, but the unit won’t actually change for the long run. As soon as I restart the truck to back to KM

Everywhere. Dash, radio, maintance. I can swap it thru the setup but it doesn’t stay. Can swap it to miles. Then everything shows miles, but when I shut the truck off it defaults back to KM

Can you change that on the center dash display too? I know that's where you change the accent colors and it affects the stereo too

One thing I’m think I’m realizing, if you get a Entune 3.0 04200 or 04250 it is strictly for KM and won’t stay in MPH. So just a heads up.

The 04200 comes in the US trucks. All the members from the us that sell their HUs are either 04230 (non Nav) or 04200 (with NAV)

Yea from what y’all are saying it sounds like 04200 is us/mph and 04250 is ca/kph.

Seems weird they wouldn’t just make a single part no for both and just make it a settings change.

Does anyone know on my 2019 radio 86100-04163 premium-non JBL how if possible, to separate or breakdown the media port connector? I'm repurposing the port for fast charging and I was trying to get the 3.5mm separated but I'm afraid of breaking it. Also, the USB cable goes back to the radio and I'm wondering where the 3.5MM wiring is going. I have this cable installed in the console and I'm looking for some way to connect to the new Entune 3.0 HU I will be installing.

LEEWA Car Audio USB AUX Interface Adapter for Toyota Corolla Camry Highlander Sienna RAV4 Prius AUX Cable #CA7160 (aliexpress.us)

As you can see there is a female five wire connector which somehow I need to connect to the new head unit I want to swap in. Thanks for looking!

I’m confused about what you are trying to do…

You want the OEM port in the dash to be fast charging, but not connected to the head unit? And you want to connect something else to the head unit’s usb?

So the USB plug that goes into the media port in the dash I'm wondering if it can be separated. If not where does the five wire plug for the 3.5mm go?

Yes it separates up at the head unit. You can plug it from there directly into your fast charger. Of course you won’t be able to connect to the head unit anymore…

Just search for a Toyota USB Retention cable on eBay. FYI they changed the connectors between Entune 2.0 and Entune 3.0 head units so make sure you get the right one.
