    Hi all,
I have wired up an extra reverse light with a relay and a switch. I now want to trigger the relay when I put the truck in reverse. However, my relay is under the hood. I know I can run a wire from the factory reverse light all the way to the relay under the hood.

I'm just wondering if there is any wire/fuse that is hot when the transmission is in reverse in the area near the hood or the driver side area. This would make the work much easier since I don't have to run such a long wire the length of the entire truck. Thank you all!
