The brackets are being shipped from @MojaveMadman and the lights through us. So we send each separately.

Mine came with a harness already attached, and an extra one.. I am waiting for my mounts to come in but the one that comes attached is not the correct one?

I got my LEDs and brackets. Thanks, @CaliRaisedLed.

I wanted to share my initial impressions of the LEDs for anyone who may be "on the fence" about the design and quality.

The products themselves are incredible for the price point. The LEDs are well built, and are heavy and feel substantial and solid. The wiring harness is brilliant - I seriously don't know how they can sell that for $15. The harness comes completely assembled and is totally plug and play. I don't have fogs on my base truck, but I still could literally just attach two wires - a ground wire and a positive wire to battery - and the wiring installation would be complete. The harness is long enough to mount the LEDs anywhere on the truck and still reach the battery. The switch is pre wired and has a QD disconnect to run it through the firewall. All connections are shrink wrapped, waterproof, and exude quality.

The brackets are great quality and well powdercoated. They went together seamlessly and fit in the bumper as I expected they would, no surprises. The lights are secure and immovable both in the brackets and in the bumper. The LEDs still ship with all mounting hardware and "U" brackets even though the Apex brackets don't use the Caliraised brackets, so you have some other options if you decide not to use the LEDs in-bumper for whatever reason.

I would add that, in the interests of total fairness, I was not extremely impressed with Caliraised's website nor the ordering process; I never got an email indicating a tracking number or anything like that. I also feel like there is some confusion about who is doing what at this point in the partnership between Apex and Caliraised - I thought, from reading posts here and on the Apex thread, that Caliraised had everything in house and that all items were in stock and ready to go; but this is not yet the case. The LEDs ship from Caliraised in CA and the brackets ship from Apex in NM. This is part criticism, part advice: I think the products are very good but I think the website and even this thread are "underselling" them. The site / thread needs more pictures and more detailed information, as well as more explicit details about who is shipping what item, turn around time, etc. The lack of tracking number isn't a big deal (I did get one from Apex though) but I personally like to watch the progress my package makes and anticipate it's arrival.

Installation took about an hour including running wiring, switch, and mounting lights to brackets and brackets to bumper. Pro tip: use a shorty ratchet to get in to the bumper area from the top, that way you don't have to go in from the bottom or through the wheel wells, and you don't have to remove anything to get in there. Despite the directions saying you do, I did NOT use a deep 9/16" socket, a regular one worked fine.

Once installed, I tested out the LEDs at night. The light output is good and it is what I had hoped for. The lights (18W 3x2 clear) have good throw and are basically on par with the depth and width of the throw of the stock low beam headlights but are more white. When used in conjunction with the low beams they fill in the area to the front and sides a little better. I did not take photos of this as others have already posted a lot of comparison shots, and it was windy and rainy at my house.

Bottom line, initial impressions are that the LEDs, harness, and brackets are quality units, and a good value; though the actual selling / shipping of them leaves a little to be desired, but ultimately the vendors are reliable and reputable.

Thank you very much for the kind words about the products and a detailed feed back to us.

On the constructive criticism we appreciate it, about a week ago we just switched our website design to a whole another platform designer so we are getting that still all set up and finalized. With our new system that we just set up, you get an automatic email with tracking as soon as the package has shipped.

Regarding apex, we bought his product about 2 and half weeks ago. He just designed these third gen tacoma fog brackets so he is making his final sets which are the ones that everyone is getting at the moment. Now that he is done with his batch of brackets, we have the design and will start producing them ourself. So that's why it was shipped from his local for your set of fog brackets.

Again thank you for the kind words and advice, we strive to give our customers a high quality product for an affordable price.

If you have any other question or concerns feel free to let us know.
