Looking for advice on front driveshaft rebuild or replace ? I have a groan under acceleration when 4H engaged and suspect a seized u-joint on front shaft.

Last spring I replaced both front half shafts (aftermarket) and did the Yukon bushing at same time because it was more time and cost effective that way...only needed boots!

    TIA Gar

I'd just give it a shake to see if its a ujoint or the slip section. It should be a ujoint, which the avarage joe could possibly do or its easy for a local driveline shop to do.

you joints are relatively easy change, doesn’t make much sense to replace an entire driveshaft just for your joints. It’s also rather costly
