6' 2" 200lb, and I'm comfortable, slid to the rearmost point.
Possibly a little firm off the lot, but I quickly had a set of Wet Okole's put on. I think the extra 1/2" of neoprene took them from just 'ok', to not bad at all.

The foam mentioned was included in the base piece of the Clazzio perforated leather covers. During my lurking on that thread someone mentioned it raised their position by 1". IMO it is not that much, maybe 1/2" of foam + leather was enough for me so far until I shrink more or that foam becomes compressed. Great covers but seats do seem a bit less like buckets (bolsters less prominent), with them installed.

I don’t mind the seating position or shape but the bottom is hard and hurt my ass on long rides/trips

I have the cloth seats. They're pretty comfortable. I wouldn't say they're great but they're not terrible.

One day I'll either get one of those cool leather seat covers or just get leather seats. I haven't decided yet and thankfully I am in no hurry.

The Driver seat is not too bad, but the passenger seat is uncomfortable. The passenger seat needs either a adjustable lumbar support or more padding in the lower back area. My .02

I picked up a purple seat cushion at Sam's club to try at my job. I drive trains and am stuck in the seat for long stretches of time. It raises you up about 3/4" . It's pretty supportive but it is to heavy to take to work so I'm using it in the truck. It's not pretty but could probably go under seat covers.

Threads like these are proof that Toyota doesn’t read TW because if they did they would correct some of these simple complaints. My wife’s Toyota Prius C has and manual seat height adjustment, how hard can it be to do that in my Taco?

My 2007 TRD Tacoma has tortured me for years, especially the lowest part of the seat back which feels like a cement curb.

I am not encouraged with my 2019 TRD Sport with cloth seats. One road trip proved that the new truck has the same exact problems that my '07 has.

You'd think that Toyota would have gotten the message by now.

For everyday driving my driver's seat is okay, but man, I felt like I took a physical beating on that long road trip last September.

Not to diminish your experience as it certainly is valid to you, but if you take a look at the poll above you will find the overwhelming members of TW disagree with you. And yes, I do agree with you the curious lack of adjustment. Nevertheless, still I find the seats comfortable

They're good enough, and hold me in place well. I'm thinking about maybe installing a Corbeau sport seat at some point, provided I can get it to work with airbags, seat belts, etc.

I think Toyota’s goal with the Tacoma seating position is fuel economy. It allows them to have a very low roof and a low windshield angle. You are basically squeezed into the part of the truck that’s is left after the wind tunnel testing.

It unfortunately makes the seats uncomfortable for shorter people, or older people with less robust lower backs. It also makes forward visibility kinds crappy off-road unless you are very tall. It would have been great if Toyota simply gave height adjustment in the seats. That’s all they really need. I notice my passengers squirming to, so I don’t think it’s just me. These seat spacers I put in seem to be the ticket. So far so good.

I am very glad that my Honda CRV has a fully adjustable driver's seat. After comfortably driving the Tacoma I would find the CRV seat to be uncomfortable. Fortunately, I am able to adjust the CRV seat to mimic the Tacoma; then, all is well.

I find the seat to be ok. Its comfy enough by itself. Its that the pedals are short and the telescoping wheel is like an inch. To not sit on the wheel you have to slide the seat back further than normal. Kind of puts you in a hole and all controls and wheel are just out of the comfortable range. I feel like a high school kid with the seat leaned back, is how it feels. Like you have to sit even with the B pillar or youre crushed by the way the front of the seat tips up and the steering wheel. Just a terrible driving position without a simple crank handle to adjust

I swapped the cloth for Katzkins Leather, and added the seat spacers that are sold on here and raise the back up an inch or so. So far so good now, way better than the stock cloth setup.
