3rd gen front under seat space?

2016 Blue TRD Off Road MT

The past few vehicles I've owned have had subs in them (12 inch alpine type R(Scion tC), and an 8 inch JL W3(Scion FRS). My taco, however, does not and i'm looking to remedy the situation.

I don't want to take up the cubby areas behind and under the rear seat, so I was hoping to get something to fit under one of the front seats. I was more then impressed with the 8 inch JL, so i'm not looking for something crazy.

So I guess my question is....Has anybody put a slim subwoofer under the front seat(non powered seat if that matters) and is it even possible?

These are sort of what i've got my eye on at the moment.

Also, i'm not against the idea of a non powered box and having the amp under the other seat.
