Interesting to note. That would make sense that my setup is about 3/8" taller with the 1" larger diameter tires. I wonder how many truck brands lie about their claimed ground clearance :notsure:

This is right out of the 2017 product pdf I have. It states that the 9.4" ground clearance is for the AT equipped trucks. So the measurements that you are getting on the larger equipped diff trucks would be accurate.

so trdor, pro, and sport w/ manual are all a tad bit lower with the larger rear?

i have found that a handful of factory figures dont meet the specs exactly (mpg is a big one, need to inflate tires to 37 psi and go really slow to get the stated numbers) , even with other cars i have owned. but its not enough that its super inaccurate.

Yes. Pretty typical of manufacturers like to quote the best specs with a product to sell it and leave a small note somewhere for the purchaser to miss about how the one they bought doesn't match the listed specs.

I am fine with the smaller amount of ground clearance to have the larger diff under my truck.
