3rd Gen Interior Lights Issue

I have a 2017 TRD OR and suddenly the interior lights will not cut on when unlocking my truck or when opening the door. Dome light doesn't even cut on when turned to the "on" position, but map lights will turn on when clicked. Anyone else had this problem or know what has possibly caused this?

 

Fuses . . . . Dealer. Simple.

Fuses would be the first place to start.
Have you done any electrical work or mods to the truck lately?

 

when installing LED in the maps I blew something up in there....dealer had to fix

 

Sounds like a blown fuse or burned out bulb.

 

the dome light circuit is slaved to the map light switch.

if the map lights are off then the dome light wont come on even if set to ON.

set the map lights to door and dome light to on and they will come on.

that's how it works for my 16 sport DC
