I had said knee pain after sitting in my Tacoma after 30-45 minutes in the truck. I put 1/2-inch worth of washers under the rear anchors of the seat: it’s helped; now I can sit in the truck for at least 2 hours before my leg starts to hurt.

None of which it is to say that seat is comfortable. But at least it is bearable now.

OP: pay attention where you rest your right heel.

I find my knee hurts when I place my heel in-between the gas and brake pedals. The pain dissipates when I rest my heel right in front of the throttle and move my foot counter-clockwise to apply the brake. I just have to constantly remind myself, though.

I also found setting the seat farther back than normal helps stretch that leg. The problem with this is you will find your arms completely stretched out.

    Hope it helps.

A couple of inches of padding would help. I get saddle sores after an hr of driving. Doesn't help that I have a case of the 'gone ass'

I was happy that with my recent 10hr drives to visit family I had no pain or numbness in my legs when I usually stop (every 2-4 hrs depending). This was NOT the case with my prior ride (Kia Sorento 2014). We are all bit different...I have shorter legs and a taller torso. It's funny to sit next to my wife who is a hair taller but shorter when sitting down. She is not comfortable driving my Tacoma (w00t w00t)

My right knee is a bastard, too much ski racing & crashes... However, driving my Taco doesn't bother it.

A small dude at work calls his 4Runner a "truck" to fit in with the rest of us who own trucks. Lol

ehh id let that one go.

Its a specialized vehicle. Not a van, and doesnt quite fit the modern suv definition.

I definitely let it go a long time ago.
Just thought it was funny. 4Runner owners sometimes try to interject into conversations similarly to a child who wants attention.

Edit. My 2 year old is at that age where he hears us talking and starts to make up his own sentences as to be part of the conversation.

My bet is on you're getting older. It's a simple enough mod to experiment with, and totally reversible. My experience has been that this truck is more comfortable than my previous 2007 Colorado. Every "body" is different.

I have a M/T and I am getting left leg thigh pain just up from the back of the knee where, when depressing the clutch pedal, my leg crunches down on the seat edge where it meets the end of the left side bolster. The one inch rear seat bracket lift should work. I am just waiting for the arrival of seat covers that are on order before doing the mod.

If the above doesn't work then a soft gel memory foam seat cushion that I have checked out at Walmart will be next.

I put a 1" spacer to fix my leg issue. But now I have this weird head pain...

i had knee pain when i first got the truck. It went away though, I took some advice here and made some adjustments to the way I sit. no idea if it helped or not.

got rid of my big wallet, put better focus on driving with my feet straight, I tend to point them outwards when driving. Did these couple of things and the pain went away.

To be fair, Tacomas are just oversized cars with sailboat fuel baskets attached in the back.
