    What would I need to swap a third gen Leaf pack on my 2nd gen. I know just the leaf pack and u bolts but anything else?

    But unless the 3G is brand new and your 2G is totally flopped out, I think you'll be getting the same as you had in terms of ride, load, longevity.

    That's great for many of us, but not what everyone expects. Or wants.

    I think both posts offer great advice. I swapped my Gen 2 leafs for 3rd Gen leafs, but I also took the Hellwig spring off and swapped in Sumo spring blues, which is midway I believe. I used new u-bolts and I swapped the stock shocks out to Bilstein 5100s.

    I did the swap, but put the 2nd gen overload on the 3rd gen’s 3 leafs. Idk it seemed beefier. The whole thing is kind of contrived but it did do something.
