Yea, I am just not all that savvy when it comes to wiring. I don't even own a soldering gun. I did wire ditch lights up to my tractor canopy though and di a really good job but the connection is just a 12v cigarette lighter plug. I was too chicken to go hard wire with a switch. But the runs are done right, weather proof butt connectors, shrink tubing and wire looms. It looks good and has lasted two winters. When I use it mainly, for snow removal with the attached 54" blower.

Dude all you need to get is a wiring harness with a built on relay and fuse. It’s freaking cake man. It’s litteraly thoughtless lol all my lights are hard wired. I want to get that Perfbuilt panel and blue seas fuse block so it’s not all just tapped directly to the battery though

Yea, I do like the switch idea but I definitely would want them to come on with the reverse too.

Oh, speaking of reverse. I am putting those bulbs in this weekend and will post up some reviews. Putting the Hikari Philips in the high beam too. Will have to shoot some photos.

Coming along slowly but surely. I lost the factory seal by deleting the cover in trade for the cleaner look, so I used some structural silicone to lock the chrome thing in place.(don’t know the technical term for whatever it may be. Reflector?) Then sealed the lense to the bumper cap, and used the rubber grommet supplied with the light to center the housing on top of the lense and secured it with some structural sealant as well. Waiting for that to set up attached my two 1/8th inch aluminum brackets to the bumper stays with stainless M6x1.0 pan heads tapped into a piece of 1/4 in. Aluminum. Most likely will be 100% by tomorrow, Might wait for night to post some shots in the dark.

There is a wiring harness from ridgid that is made to tape into the reverse lights. So it has On with reverse, off with reverse, and auto. It’s a three way switch I just hate the switch it comes with.

I am gonna slap the additional Hikari in the fogs sometime this weekend. Just been busy and want to snap some photos of the Aux F16 before and Hikari after for a good comparison.

Any chance you could snap a pic of the wiring to give me an idea of where to tap in?

On the back of the big round trailer plug, it is the middle wire. Pretty sure it's a smaller white one. Turkey hunting, won't be by truck till this eve

If the wire from the reverse light sent power to the relay then it seem like it could have a standard two position switch and also come on with the reverse lights. I am going to try to find the Rigid wires you are talking about. I definitely like the idea of having a switch option as well.

It’s a three way because you can set it to come on with the reverse lights or just turn them off so they don’t. Then there is an auto on position where you can turn them on when you want I think.

    Read up man! Lol

That’s what we’ve been talking about. Hooking into a switch for anytime lights not just reverse. If that’s what your talking about.

I got mine in already and plan to do this and do a video or write up.
