I am looking to buy a Leer topper that came off of a 2017 Tacoma extended cab short bed in hopes that it will my 2014 DCSB. I have found a ton of information for people looking to install a 2nd gen topper on a 3rd gen but not the other way around. I know that the fitment may not be perfect because of the tailgate being different and the overall width may also be a little off but, I hope it is still possible. If one of you guys has some personal experience or knowledge on it and could help me out that would help so much. Thanks in advance!

Ah ok. I never realized that I've never seen a extended cab short bed before. Thanks for the response.
