TFW you go way too slow in mud and dig yourself into a 2 foot deep rut and have to have your friend pull you out

My first post in this thread.

Added 16" Pro Comp 7032's this weekend on 265/75r16 Cooper AT3s.

I've got the 3rd gen Bilstein 5100's on there @ 1.1 to level it out.

Next up will be blacking out the badges and chrome bumper end caps.

I'd like to pretend I know what I'm doing, but it's just a simple filter

AT3's are great tires. You might want to consider pulling the front air dam and running boards off, it really cleans the truck up.

KIMG0195.jpg KIMG0196.jpgOrdered my 2017 Limited with TRD exhaust. Got the Vehicle OCD for center console, with the factory all weather mats with passenger securing mod. Up sized to 265/65/18 Goodyear wrangler all-terrain adventure.

Not sure why so many on TW are bitching about engine/trans mines a beast. I guess I got lucky

I believe that 275/65/18 would have sent me in the rub zone

    Looks awesome

I think those 18" wheels look much better and more sexy than the TRD Pro wheels :)

Yeah, I've considered taking the dam off. I like the added MPG, but not sure if the ~1 MPG or w/e is worth it.

I'm not so sure that air dam will yield that kind of mpg loss. I guess you could always put it back on. :notsure:

I have gone back&fourth on removing it too. I wonder if front & mid skids would compensate for any additional drag if air dam was removed.

I really don't think that air damn does anything at all. Advertised economy is the same for all V6 models including the TRD which doesn't come with it from the factory. It looks pretty bad and hangs way to low.

EPA mileage is calculated "in the lab", not real world driving, so any changes in air flow would not impact ratings. I doubt it would make any significant change to highway mileage by removing the spoiler. I agree on the spoiler, seeing pics of trucks without it, thinking about removing it, too.

sedona2.jpg Sedona.jpg I've been following for awhile but decided to jump in! This is at broken arrow in Sedona. My Tacoma did everything including the stairs without a problem. Slowly adding some modifications. I want a overlanding truck that stays close to factory. 34000 miles on my truck and not a problem. The BFG's dropped my MPG down to 19.

Stock? I'm hoping to head there for a MTB trip this year and figured I should take the Taco for a ride to!
