In my opinion I think they do make the seats more comfortable there is a layer of foam on the inside of the seat covers

    (Truck as it sits today)
NEW to TW. Have been lurking for about two months and commenting at times but thought I should post a photo of my truck in this thread. 2017 trd sport DCSB!

(Truck as it was when I got it)

Unfortunately already experienced the recall on the third brake light. Now contemplating lifting the truck.

I was looking at falken wildpeak at3’s
    In a 265/70/17 or 265/75/17.
My buddy owns a tire shop in Oregon and said he’d install general grabbers at/x for $968 installed and balanced.

    What’s best?

You will get many different opinions on tires, all depends on what you want them for? The stock tires are good for hwy miles but that's about it. If you get tires you could sell yours to cover 1/2+ of your new tires. Also, not sure who makes 265/75/17?

You may be right he might have miss typed. Maybe it was 275/75/17?
Would like good winter weather traction but not sacrificing decent mpgs and good off-road performance. I’d like aggressive tires but not super duper heavy like ko2’s E rated.

    How was the spacer kit?
My buddy told me to install a RevTEk 3/1 or maybe it’s 3/2? He has had that kit since day on of getting his OR and he takes that truck everywhere with no problem. But the guys at wheelers off-road in Oregon said to do the bilstien 5100’s with OME 885’s

If you lift 2" about the biggest you can go without trimming is 275/70/17. I have E but will go with C next time.

If you can afford it go with bilstiens. Spacer kit is a bit harsh IMO. BIG difference when I replaced them.

In my break down the Bilsteins are only about $100 more as I would not pay a shop to install those I have friends and myself to wrench the 5100’s. Without the shock compressor I don’t feel comfortable putting the spacers on myself. Thank you for so much great feed back! It’s great having so much reading material on this forum but sometimes it’s a huge thing to wade through.

Just FYI, you have that backwards. Unless you buy Bilsteins assembled with a new coil, you’ll have to assemble them. Block lifts only require you to unbolt the existing assembly, add the puck, and bolt it all back together on the truck
