I've had success removing similar scratches.

 

I second that approach. A light wax (even a spray wax) may do the job.

 

Never done the clay bar. I just washed it and thats when I noticed it. I have some turtle wax I might try tomorrow if not off to autozone

 

My friends look at me perplexed as I wash and spray wax my truck drying it with only 2 small microfiber towels. No water spots comes out show room ready.

I do have a different approach with this truck than my black car....

 

Some waxes have cleaners in them and have worked for me in the past for minor scratches.

 

I like Nu-Finish it is a good budget wax that I've had good results with.

 

With the synthetic one it will be a breeze. If you get an actual clay bar you have to be careful and I have experience with both.

 

I share my results tomorrow. Truck is to new to riding around with scratches ..smh

 

Dont get me started on that... I bought my truck new and the guy that details the cars sold scratched the hood... I was so upset I saw it the next morning.

 

Not a problem. I'm OCD about my paint. I'm a novice but have everything I need. I have come to like Griots products. Lol

Nothing wrong with being prepared.

 

Some at my job ask if the on site car detail detailed my truck I laugh and say they charge too much for a second rate job.

Same. I noticed it after I was done washing it. I pull up to the gym parking lot and start looking at it again like I was gonna do something in the parking lot haha

 

Started to worry less about getting buffed to go home and buff...
