I just got the 4runner wheels and tires

 

MGM owners, I need some feedback on paint maintenance.

I placed an order for a Super White sport a couple weeks ago. I honestly never though I would buy a non-white vehicle but over the past couple days I have fallen in love with MGM.

A huge reason I love white is how easy it is to keep up. No water spots, no swirl marks, less dirt, less visible dents, stays cooler, etc.

How has keeping up on the MGM been? Any signs of swirl marks or scratches without routine detailing? any information would be helpful regarding the paint.

MGM is a b*tch to take care of.. I find myself washing the car on a weekly basis. Dust is very very visible on this and it does get very dirty very quickly. As for scratches, they do show but it's not noticeable.

 

It looks great when it's clean. I use quality towels to dry mine after a wash, but you definitely have to work to keep it looking that way. When clean though, it's beautiful. And yes, my truck gets warm in the sun.

 

I do this too and I find a ton of new scratches daily and I never have a clue where they come from

 

Do any of you MGM guys wish you would have went with an easier to take care of color after you bought it?

 

No chance! I love my MGM, best looking color IMO

No. I'm am a few blocks south of Buckley AF base though....

I thought I saw that rig here, but I'm pretty sure now that that one's a Sport.

 

No, but then my other two vehicles are Black 2001 Tacoma and Black 2012 4Runner and I've always hand washed them. The 4Runner is the hardest to keep clean. From owning many colors over the years I know white's easiest but white pickups just scream work truck or company truck to me.
