    So what is new with the updated manual? Taller ratios at highway speeds for better MPG? I wonder what the MPG diff will be between the two transmissions.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    So far I've praised everything about the 3rd gen, but that red trim around the radio is terrible. And with a yellow truck nonetheless. That's another odd thing, I've never heard of a factory yellow Tacoma or seen one either.

    think you need glasses or get a color blind test if you think Toyota has ever made a truck yellow in last 1-2 decades.

    For the last time it is not red, it is inferno (orange).

    The yellow is sun glare, not the color of the truck.
    That interior option, as of now, does not come with any other color than inferno.

    While I wish I could've justified the stick 6 cylinder, a stick 4 banger is what I got. My boss has an older v6 auto and so far, I've done ok keeping up with him. Mileage isn't the best (I'm sure it'd be better if I drove different) but I choose 'Yotas for other reasons: reliability, resell, versatility.
