I'm not sure I want to be seeing pictures of peoples knobs, especially close up.

If I didn't have a kid I would totally take you up on this. Would be an easy trip too, I can see your island from my house.

Manuals on DC certainly seem hard to find as yet.

For some reason you can't get the good stereo with the sub woofer with the six speed manual either

So is that considered the tech package? The jbl stereo etc? No push start, no jbl stereo & sub, no crawl control, damn this thing should be coming in with a way cheaper price tag. I'm not budging on manual transmission.

Just pull hard and far to the left, then forward. No pushing down.

JBL is an add-on to the tech package, only available on DC with automatic. The tech package with the manual includes all the blind spot/lane departure/parking SONAR crap, auto headlights, heated seats, and automatic climate control. I ordered mine without all that and saved $1500.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't need that crap for $1500 either. I might have got a limited, loaded with 6MT but since it is not available I think I will be smart & stay economical. So far i sat in a sr 2wd 4cl access cab at my dealer. They have nothing else in stock. Even that truck is a lot nicer than my 2000 sr5 (on the inside). Need to drive one with a 6 speed manual.

Good call. Stereo systems can be upgraded to far better than the factory JBL system for way less $, especially if you can do the labor yourself. I upgraded my old Tundra from a stock AM/FM/CD to a Pioneer system with subwoofer, navigation, front and rear cameras, and Bluetooth phone connectivity for less than $1000. The other available tech options might appeal to some, but I've always shut them off in the vehicles I've had with them. I never had one with the lane departure and blind spot monitoring, but I always turned off auto climate control and parking SONAR, rarely used heated seats, and can turn my headlights off and on myself.

I hear you. I could have been persuaded to get the V6 but no 4x4 accessory cabs with manual transmissions. Except for the jazzed up Sport which I do not like. After reading the technical info on the V6, no way! All that complication gave me the Heebie Jeebies. I will take the longer stroke iron block 4 cyl. At least it will feel like a truck engine. $24825 4x4 before add ons. More of what I actually need for my money.

They're really pushing these through commercial ads during the football games.
I wonder if they greased the alignment cam bolts on the lower control arms during assembly.

Decided to put my UCAs on the 2013, lo and behold all of the adjust bolts freed up on the LCAs except for the passenger front.:sawzall:Time for new poly bushings and hardware.

Still waiting on the dealer to receive the MT AC '16 just to check it out.

As to the shift knob on the DCSB, it was kinda strange and non conventional looking.
