I swapped the wires to see if there would be, and I got nothing (unless it is super dim and can't be seen during the daytime). The mirrors get toasty though.

I’m not positive we are all on the same page with what is illuminating. Everybody is talking about the led on the switch turning on when pressed right?

No, not what I'm talking about anyway. On the spotter mirrors, there's an icon right where the wires plug into the back of the mirror to heat them.

I thought maybe it lit up when on, but mine does not... makes no difference how the wires are connected.

Maybe the difference is if the mirror includes BSM.

    Aaahhhh! I appreciate the correction!
Those things do look much nicer than the full convex ones I’ve seen in person

Mine too. Right up there w/the bed mat, bumper step, anytimebackup camera kit, H9 bulbs, DD Max yellow fogs, VLED tail light conversion, Screen ProTech, Mac's Custom Tie Straps, BAK MX4 Tonneau, KMorgan's Dash Light Harness, Daveesa's LP Disable in Reverse, Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners and the OTT tune that I use all the time & appreciate all the time. Every. Damned. Time. :yay:

And a few other things that I like almost as much these.

Has anyone figured out an at-home way of mounting ammo cans to the cargo rails? I have t-nuts but I’m mounting them to the front bed track I just installed and it kind’ve sits under the top rail. I would need to push them out to properly open them. I have no way to fabricate something like the Rago mounts and those are about $100 each.

    Any help would be appreciated

Yessir—just got these done Thursday! Made them for a number of mounting configs, including ammo cans with the ability to open the boxes while mounted. $35 each, stainless, US made!

Any photo of these in use with ammo can? Looks interesting, but I'd like to see how it mounts. Thanks.

I’ll have them mounted up to the rail tomorrow. Here are a couple shots of the test pieces mounted to my extension plates, which honestly isn’t my favorite because the ammo can wall is pretty floppy. I turned them around and put the four holes against the ammo can and it was better overall.

Mounted to my Leitner rack. Took a lot longer to get the snow and ice out of the bed today than expected, and I ran out of daylight. I will have it mounted to the bed rails w/pics tomorrow.

That looks real nice mounted. Any chance you'd do custom? I'm thinking instead of the T holes. I would be interested in keyhole for a quick mount and removal.

Looks good, but I think mounting it up on the bedsides, just makes it more tempting for some lot scum to poach.

I’ll look at it and see what it takes to modify the plates I have. Could be as simple as a step drill to open up one end of the slots.

Here are a couple shots of them on the bulkhead rail:

You could also mount it down lower if you wanted the extension brackets as well. Think I’m going to try that tomorrow with the short extension bracket over the wheel well.

Little cheap mod to hold my keys. Keeps them out of my pocket and not in the way.

Just joined and scouring older posts, but thought I'd chime in: I got the "factory" (actually dealer-installed) TRD lift kit at time of purchase on my new 2022 OR. Also ordered 32" OD tires (265/75R16) installed at the same time, so the dealer did all the corrections/adjustments necessary and it's been working great. There are a few other threads decrying the cost of the kit versus buying parts and DIY-ing it, but all of those things you mentioned in your post get looked after by a competent dealer, and are well worth the few extra $$.
