Trunking scanners are cheap. Bought one for $200 in Canada. Digital trunking scanners on the other hand, not cheap, not cheap at all. Is that what you meant?

Regarding scanners, whether trunked, not trunked, analog or digital...check you local, county, and state laws regarding operation in private vehicles. Some loaclities/states outlaw permanent installation in private vehicles (unless you are an Amateur Radio operator and your HAM radio equipment allows access to those frequencies). Portable scanners don't usually cause any hassles.

Unfortunately, with several things done at once, could be any of the changes. Could be the lift, alignment, spacers or tires. Gonna have to do process of elimination.

I dunno if it's just the angle but it looks like it's leaning towards the passenger side.

This should have been included with the vehicle. All of my previous cars have had some sort of tray in the center console from the factory. Needless to say, I ordered this before even leaving the dealership with my Tacoma.

These are great, picked them up months ago. Really are a nice addition to the interior.

Can the engine be turned off without turning off the radio/accessories? Or do you have to restart them after killing engine?

Leave in drive, shut off engine, shift to "park".

I actually shift to neutral and e-brake, shut off, shift to park. Seems to keep the load off the parking pawl and make shift to drive in the morning easier.

No, I just measure the lift in both sides, and they are equal...
