Did the grommet come with or did you have to buy after the fact?

Some trucks have the grommets from the factory. Some don’t. If you order from Weather Tech, ask them to be sure to include thr grommets. They fit in a square hole in the fender bottom so the flap can be secured there with a screw. Check your fender before you order.

Most snow in Raleigh, NC in 7 years. The snow pic is my current 2017 TRDOR and they are Toyota OEM, Super easy to bolt on, I think I did it in about 10-15 min, no drilling, remove and reinstall several bolts from flares and add one bolt per flap. Flaps come with the 4 additional screws needed. The weather techs were non flare version on my previous 2016 SR5, pretty much same install, no drilling, but I was missing a clip from the front fenders needed for install and weather tech didn't include it, so I had to get a couple from the auto parts store. That clip is used to mount flares so that shouldn't be an issue with weather tech flared versions.

OEM is like a giant sand scoop, i don’t recommend. Put it in to the ground deep or hard and you will pull your wheel well out. I got rockblocks on mine. Flexible but stiff they are somewhat adjustable too if your wheel sticks out some due to offset.

I have the Plasticolor ones. They work pretty well, and seem flexible enough that they won't shatter/rip off. BUT: both my rear flaps now have a permanent bend to the rear from wind. They look like the truck is moving freeway speeds when it's sitting parked. Kind of driving me crazy. Might switch to rokblokz if I can't figure out a way to straighten them.

I did the same. The rear ones looked good trimmed about 3/16”-1/4” below the 4x4. I used tin snips and a sharpie to outline first.

Mine have been great for use during the winters! They are very durable for light 4x4 use. I received only minor scuffs with lots of contact from when I forgot to take them off on the trails once. Have you reversed yet with contact? I love the product, but nothing is going to save them (or other damage) when they are caught by your tire backing up in reverse. Experience any river crossings yet with Rokblokz?

I put on the husky mud guards. Can't complain. Bought an Amazon warehouse set discounted.

Nice! I can't decide if I should sell mine or not. Probably worth keeping if we ever get snow again..

Here's a rear pic of my WeatherTech guards.
They are quite low-profile and hold up really well.

I installed Rokblokz, but I ended up trimming them down a little because they seemed too close to the ground.

I just got a deal from Real Truck on Husky liners all 4 for $67.45 shipped. Go on chat and ask for winter sale price which they start at Amazon level but ask them to beat that.....

Thanks cblow5 for the pics. The screw heads don't look that noticeable, and if they are I can dab some rustoleum paint to to help blend. Looks like I am going to order some RB's! Thanks again. Can't wait to see your lift when it's done.
