Those are just vinyl stickers. It's not worth it. Total waste of $ . Edges started to peel off after a month.

I would advise against the plasticolor flaps. Mine are all warped (especially the rear flaps), and look like shit.

I purchased front/rear flaps about three weeks ago from a local truck accessory shop, the front set of flaps did not included grommets. I called WeatherTech customer service, spoke to a support agent and she sent out a set of grommets (no charge)... I received them in 3-4 days.

Youre a fellow desert dweller, too. My 1st Gen had front Plasticolor flaps that did very well, and 100% of that time was being parked in my drive facing south, and a lot of work driving, both in a desert climate.

I just put new ones on my 3rd gen- guess I’m the one that gets to test them out! :)

I recommend taking any mud flap OFF for rock crawling. Some minor surface chips on your paint vs wheel liner damage and ripping them off is a no brainer.

I did that, now I'm struggling to put them back on. Looks being important, but not. . .

Did you use existing bolts on the truck to fasten them on with?

Most of them- but the inner front ones needed 1 longer screw each - 1/4x1.5 in should do, and the rears need a small bracket to reach the inner hole:

Just put Rokblokz on mine and they are pretty sweet! Maybe it'll keep sand out of my BSM!
    The grey decal matches perfectly!

I took this pic on the road today to see both of mine. Pretty much any auto parts store has universal heavy duty rubber mud flaps for around $12 each you can line up and bolt on the way you like.FF17DC3B-F1DD-4CCA-AAF4-A7140E948877.jpg

    1. That hybrid badge is brilliant!
    2. I can't find any OEM 4x4 mud flaps for my '17. Do 2nd gen flaps fit these 3rd gens?

Haha the hybrid decal is just for laughs . no the 2nd gen gen won’t fit. The 4x4 is just vinyl . Mine came off eventually so it’s just a waste of money. Maybe if I haven’t applied tire shine on my flaps weeks before the vinyl install it might have worked.

Just a few days ago, I noticed and was surprised to see the amount of pitting on the lower portion of the leading edge of the rear fender flares.

This after just 3 or 4 days of driving around town and on the freeway on hard pack snow and ice with a bit of gravel spread over it.

Looks like some flaps might be in order. Or, it adds character.
