You ever find a fix for the track info?
My Oneplus 6 is having the same issue in my 2020 with the stock head unit. Worked for a little when I deleted all Spotify data and redownloaded it. It has since stopped working. It's driving me insane.

Just want to say thank you @ktbell444, The Toyota site was giving me the incorrect version for an update. Your file had the .164 version I needed and it worked flawlessly. Thank you for the extra work that benefits us all.

probably a dumb question but would a general software update be needed if i don't have the craziest of issues? the only issue i've had is the bluetooth connectivity but it doesn't happen often

What about for someone (like me) with the Camera Solutions (Germes) front camera controller?

I have no idea. My only experience has been installing four or so updates on my Taco. All the while having my override / front camera / rear camera anytime harness installed. A couple times, I forgot to switch off the override. It doesn't seem to affect things.

The Germes unit intercepts signals to/from the HU. It switches to the front cam automatically for a time when you go from reverse to drive. Or you can double-tap the Mode button on the steering wheel at any time to enable a camera, and then use the up/down buttons to toggle between cameras.
Hoping that someone with the Germes unit can confirm that it still works after this update.

In general, FW updates should not affect your system. That said, if you have mods, I wouldn't install an update unless you are having issues.

With the FW updates that I have installed, because I'm a nutter, I have not seen any amazing changes or issues. It might run a bit smoother?

    Thanks @ktbell444 for the files!

Just did mine and went fine for the first 2-3 min then the HU shut off came back on with the Toyota logo then shut off again, then came back on and worked normally. This happened while driving as I wanted to go get gas after having the Fuel Pump recall done and did not know exactly how long it would take. I was still in my neighborhood so I turned around and went back to the house. Turned the truck off and took out the SD card and tried the update again. This time no problems and it was done in about 5 min.

I've been looking to see if there's another update for the Camry, so I'll be sure to snag these files if there are any further updates.

    UPDATE!
Newest updates have been added covering 2016-2021!

    Note:
The newer head units on the 2020+ models have a significantly larger update, so expect it to take some time.

There is a lot (and I'm not sure what is a continuation from previous revisions), so here are the TSB's.

I have misplaced my thumb drive so I have yet to see the process for 2020+ models.

Did you read the TSB included in the zip file to see the steps you need to take? May be a different "update" option.
