Dang, would have driven to San Antonio from Houston to pick these up.

As far as shipping, the boxes for aftermarket are the easiest and safest. If you don't have those, these pack up big. Shipping will run close to $100.

 

Can't blame me. I even paused for a good 10 minutes hoping someone else would take them. Wasn't really looking for another mod to throw on the pile right now.

 

Just wrap them in a lot of bubble wrap. Toyota sends them with minimal packing and wedged in between two pieces of cardboard. Kind of crazy for $2000+ headlights.

 

My second set from Toyota was bubble wrapped 360 degrees with styrofoam paper on top. I'd suggest that maybe some packing peanuts on the bottom too and try to keep pressure off the tabs or perhaps put some styrofoam around them so they're protected. Also, write "FRAGILE" on the box and "DON'T STACK." Agreed on getting the shipping insurance coverage. My second set was shipped Fedex arrived fine, first set usps arrived broken, but I think it's a wash no matter which shipper you use.

Edit: Heck of a deal! $450 cheaper than I paid for my pros. Yes, ship in separate boxes.
