    It depends on the tire too, my tire was close to a 32" and wouldn't fit the brackets.

    My current spare is 32 and fits without issue...maybe I'm missing parts under there?

    Or maybe I’m remembering it wrong. It’s an LT265/75R16 KO2. It doesn’t fit under yhere.

    Yup, mine is 265/70R17 Cooper, same specs according to ...it's under there now. 2002 Extra Cab, SR5.

    I'll go look to see if I'm missing anything obvious. As messed up as this thing was when I got it, would not surprise me if parts are missing.

    The tire carrier brackets are bent in a 'C' shape. My tire hits the end of the 'C' portion before it would fit.
