The one in the video using plastic pipe looks great. However with such short lines is there any harm in just using all rubber lines and carry a barb splice if you have to bypass? Of course you would need a pliers for the hose clamps where as using plastic pipe/fittings it can be done with no tools. Would the rubber lines collapse over time under constant vacuum?

You are fine with rubber lines, but I would make sure they are fuel lines. 3/8" ID. If you use lines that are not fuel rated they may get soft and collapse. You could also use bulk power steering hose or whatever you can find cheap at your local parts store. Just make sure its fuel/oil rated. You probably only need to buy 3 feet in total so you don't need much.

I would appreciate if you would consider subscribing, you don't have to ring the bell for notifications if you don't want to. Just looking to pump up my subscribers. You need 1000 for you channel to go anywhere these days (and its hard to get subscribers......) If you don't want no worries, but I figured I would ask. Thanks and if you have any other questions let me now.
