    There is a 3rd party scoop hood by RK Sport. You might look back in this thread or search and ask one of those owners for opinions. I’m not sure if it is lighter, etc.

    I have a Silversky Metallic scoop hood from my new 2018 TRD Sport, interested in trading for a non-scoop hood. Truck has just over 100 miles, so hood is brand new and completely mint. Only willing to trade for a new hood (i.e. <500 miles) in mint condition, no exceptions. Will do an even swap (no cash) for whoever is willing to come here and pay local dealer cost to do the swap. Located in western suburbs of Philadelphia.

    That is going to make it tough for you,many hoods with more miles are still like new ;) Take mine for example,it has just a little over 5k miles on it and it is still like new,no chips,dents,scratches,kept garaged ect. And of course you are on the opposite side of the country from me as well :( I would have been willing to meet and let you inspect it before proceeding. That is what you should do vs the <500 miles stipulation IF you really want to swap with someone ;) But I guess,your hood,your rules,good luck....

    But fair enough. So here’s a second offer: will take a used silver hood in perfect condition + $250 cash for my brand new one. Or even swap for a new hood like mine. Not really trying to get rich on the trade, just trying to get the part I want. Local swap only.
