    Mine came separated from the dealer. I noticed it on my first drive home, and then found a thread about it here. Haven't had a chance to have it fixed yet. Still hoping for a scooped hood...

    See, this is one of the things that worries me about swapping my MGM scooped hood for a non-scooped. I don't want a flexing hood due to bad adhesive! No way! I currently have have the scooped hood (Sport model) but would prefer the non-scooped because it has the sleeker look. I don't want the aggressive look of the scooped hood but am not going to trade for a problem that I have to deal with.

    It's just seam sealer that holds it together. Readily available, easy to apply. If mine was ever to come sort, I'd just fix it myself. Not worth the trip to the dealer.
