    Did you pull trigger?

    I’m in process of getting it done. Dealer is around $800 but dude there was super cool and offered a %15 discount so lime $705... then I hit up an auto body shop who said they’d do paint, plus blending fenders and grille surround for $700. Then the body shop also oFfered to get me the hood at their discounted price...turned out to be like $600 for the hood they said...think imma pull trigger

    Nah I haven’t sprung for a scooped hood yet... hoping that over time, availability and cost come will continue to come down. Saving for suspension/lift first haha.

    Regarding the deal you found.. That’s probably the best price for a new hood that I’ve seen so far..

    Wow that's a hell of a deal. I looked into this in my area and right now for parts, paint and labor (blending into the fenders too) I am getting estimates from $2200 to $2600. If you have the means and really need to have a sport hood I would jump on that deal.

    I think at that price point I am going to just keep looking and hope someone will want to do a Quicksand swap here in Northern California. I love the look of my Off Road hood, I just REALLY love the look of the scooped hood.
