    They do say selling not trading, if some guys want $500+ and a mint flat hood, I wouldn’t think $1000 without a trade is out of line. This isn’t mine and I’m not interested either, just don’t think it’s out of line if it is a like new factory painted oem hood.

    Flat hoods resale for $200, I've seen some try to literally give their flat hoods away. So even $500 + flat hood is still not $1000. I guess it depends how badly you want it.

    That's not what he is saying....
    He is merely pointing out that the guy is flat out selling his scooped hood for 1K. He is not asking for a swap. He is not asking for a trade. There is no mention of him wanting a flat hood in return. Hell, it sounds like he may have already replaced it and the photo is from when it WAS on the truck. It doesn't matter what the flat hood is worth, that's not what he is selling. Give him $1000 and he gives you scooped hood. You get to figure out what to do with your old flat hood, which you might have to nearly give away.

    I have a 2018 metallic dark gray flat hood and am looking for a scoop type hood in the NC area with cash to add of course. I priced getting one from Toyota and it's $552. Then the body shop painting it is a fortune. Wow, hurt my feelings.

    Went down to Denver this past weekend and met up with @cnstaco . Super awesome guy with a seriously badass truck. Swapped hoods and he threw in some blacked out side mirror signals and a recovery point for the hitch. Love the way the scooped hood looks. Keep on looking guys, dreams do come true!
