    Let me stew on it. I actually LOVE the look or the scoop. I HATE that it's non-functional. Then there is the thought someone will eventually come up with a kit that makes it functional.......

    I’ve found functional scooped hoods.. they are about 800 bucks. Then you have to get them painted.ouch

    Oh yeah? I have seen the full fiber hoods with built in functional scoop - basically ducting over to the air box.....$2000 or so. Do you have a link?
