Fake news. It was on there a few months ago as well. No response after a couple messages. Or...maybe he doesn’t like my name.

Screen Shot 2020-02-27 at 9.36.50 AM.png Just an FYI for those offering $400-500 for a swap: A brand new Sport Hood from a dealer, complete with scoop, will cost you (with tax) under/near $700 out the door.
Then put your non-scoop hood up for sale.

My point is that's really not much more if you're not into either waiting 10 years or getting really, really lucky to get a sport hood.
    Just sayin.

Is that without a discount? I get 30% off and work at a body shop.

I was thinking $500 + my hood is outrageous for a swap. The sport people swapping don't even want the scoop. Yet they get $500 + the hood they want. Amazing.

    I agree. That's why I don't have a Sport hood yet.

Would still need to pay for paint though also, unless you have those skillz.

That's true. It all boils down to how much one wants the scoop hood. Personally I love the look (and would gladly trade), but that's a pretty penny for all form and no function.

I feel the same. I love the look of the sport/pro hood. I’ve been looking at rksport hoods. Fiberglass and functional, but it still needs to be painted. Not sure if the seibon carbon fiber hoods are functional but I can’t justify the price of the carbon fiber hood.

I’ve considered that route and got a very good discount from a dealer (500-600 out the door, with all the factory trims) But I hesitated since getting it painted cost around 500-800 itself.
