    I heard that you should use a sharpie to draw an outline of the bracket before uninstalling the hood. This will assist you in aligning the hood after the swap.

    There should be an elbow connection type, just disconnect that and swap the hood unless one of the hoods doesnt have any of plumbing for the windshield sprayer, as for alignment of the hood, do not tighten the bolts all the way. Close the hood and see which side needs to be aligned then tighten the 4 bolts
