    I would imangine the distance you drive to do the trade might effect the price. 250 cash and the hood swap is fair in my book for forum members. Price would go up for non members.

    I'm in the market for 3rd Gen Super White scooped hood for my non scooped hood in the Philadelphia/NJ/Del area is ideal.

    Parts department is well over $1000. Then you have to paint it and blend. I like a scoop hood like the rest of you but I'm not paying that to a dealer/body shop for limited benefit.

    No dog in this fight; just saying that if it was me I'd push for all the cash the market would allow! That's just capitalism. Even at $500 that's still essentially half price.

    You could be right. I just recall one guy got his for $600 but maybe that didn't include paint.

    I saw an online retailer with the main hood part for under $300 too though.

    This thread is absolutely pointless. Lol you should only be able to post if you have a scooped hood that you want to trade. That would bring this down from 34 pages of people posting their non scooped hood to 3 pages and would have more success
