    Yeah I’m not expecting a miracle. It’s actually for my dad. He just got a 21 Sport and hates the scoop. I didn’t know that was a color either until he showed up with it. I have a 21 Army green.

    I know a few have gotten people to trade a hood when they see a truck go up for sale on craigslist, facebook marketplace, etc, or even just left a note on one in a parking lot, but has anyone managed to do it with a used car dealer? There are a couple 2019/20 cement Sports for sale around me at dealers and wondering if it is worth seeing if they'll do a swap + a little cash to make something on the side.

    Ahh finally got the scoop. A little over a thousand dollars in and 6 weeks later it’s here. Bought one at local dealer for $450 tax and shipping then another $600 for body shop to paint and install and here it is. Took longer to get it painted then it did to receive it from dealer.     Looks great! Personally I would remove the air dam under the bumper to give it an even more aggressive look. But that’s just my opinion.

    Oh yeah forgot to mention the scoop kit. That was another $129. Bought a kit off someone on Fleabay but had it before I bought hood so I had completely forgot it.

    If you’re willing to spend up to $500 in gas to get a hood, I would probably just order one from the dealership and get it painted. I mean sure the gas is cheaper than a new hood, but if you get a stone chip in the paint of your current hood during the last few miles of the trip and find out the guy doesn’t want to trade because of it, then you just wasted a lot of money in gas for no reason. Food for thought.
