Contacted him. He said to come pick up the next day. Went down to Los Angeles and messaged him and he he didn’t respond. He messaged later saying sorry and I said I was still in Los Angeles and I would like to pick up the hood and he said sorry he can’t sell it. Its fishy it’s been posted over 16 weeks ago. It’s hard to communicate with the guy cause it seems like he is using a translator to write back. Good luck if you can get.

I don't know how you guys do it that have found a trade. I've scoured everything I can think of and either get a hard no, laughed at, or flaked on. I also think Barcelona Red is becoming rare too, ha. Lucky ducks!

First week owning it found a straight trade and it included a bug visor lol . Found him selling the truck on offer up and asked and it was done that afternoon.

 

I’ve tried multiple times on people selling Trd off-road with a scoop hood and even they say no way. I think you lucked out man

 

I had a old neighbor with a 17 pro in Sw , she in her 80s and I offered the trade and she was down . This one was a 2020 sw Oem hood and that’s the one I made the swap with . The old lady is still willing to trade . For anyone in SoCal /Fontana she’s off the main road in Lytle creek and had a sw pro with a shell and a 2016 silver taco with one of those rv looking campers on it .

We're all basically looking for scooped hoods, ha.

My last interaction with that FB guy, he said the hood was new but not OEM. His comms seemed hit or miss and he definitely is using a translator of some sort. It's 5.5 hours for me one way. I don't think I've hit that point yet where I want that kind of gamble, ha.

If anyone does make a deal with him, please let me/us know. I'm super curious as to how it works out in person and the quality of the hood.
