    Yeah been waiting for a Cement scooped hood to pop up (a reasonable distance from me) for a couple years now...

    That being said, if you are willing to pay to repaint it, which I'm guessing is your plan if you are willing to accept other colors, you probably would spend as much as just buying the parts new yourself from a dealer and getting them painted.

    Mmm yes, seems that way. Strange, for 2nd Gens it seemed an equal number wanted scoop vs non-scoop in trading.

    I am willing to pay extra on top for the trade. If I can’t find anything in a month or two I will go the dealer route, local or online.

    Just an option to think about, if you’re looking at a few months time frame, wait till Black Friday to see if Toyota dealers have a good discount on parts.

    I waited for almost two years for a white scooped hood. Sold my truck and literally 2 weeks later a white scoop hood popped up on FB marketplace for $700 lol

    I post this about once a year-looking for a cement grey sport hood for my standard non scooped hood. Located in central oregon.

    saw a used sport on a dealer lot last week and almost took it for a quick test drive home lol

    While taking it home and swapping it would be frowned upon, you could go in and talk to them and see if they'd be willing to sell to/swap it with you. I doubt it would affect their pricing at all and someone there could make a quick buck off it from you. Might depend on the dealer though I suppose. A Toyota dealer might not, but I could see some small used lot not having a problem with that.
