    ahh i see, i figured it was haha. does anyone know if it can be made functional? like is it just plastic blocking the vent? maybe would be cool to have a servo motor open/close with a switch for when sitting in traffic on a hot day...probably will make not difference but hey cool factor right?

    I acknowledge this isn't yours but $500 for an aftermarket unpainted hood and scoop doesn't seem like a really good deal to me.

    yeah, prolly true..just wanted to make folks aware that the items were not oem.

    I pop in here every once in a while these days. I sucked it up 2.5 years ago..bought an oem hood and scoop parts for around $700 and got it painted for another $800 and never looked back at that decision. This thread made me too anxious..haha

    Looking for a Super White Scooped hood to trade for my non-scooped hood.
    I will be picking up the truck in March from the Bay area and driving it to Texas. Anywhere along the way, I can make a stop to swap hoods. I plan to take I-5 to I-10, but I'm flexible to do the swap.
