    Yea the problem is you cant get em yet. Even the parts dept at toyota says no go. I even asked them well what if i had a sport and wrecked the hood? The answer i got was "yea, i dunno. That is a good question"

    I'd be interested to know what your price on the whole set of parts is and if it's painted or not if you happen to remember. Even if it's close. I'm going to do it, just been waiting to be able to order parts instead of trying to arrange an unlikely swap. My time is probably worth the difference as I don't get much weekend leeway.

    Bingo, the guys said they'd be happy to order them for me but absolutely no guarantee on when they might show up.

    It's called supply and demand bro.. Where will you find a scooped hood for sale painted?

    Paint alone on a hood is $500+

    I love when people say to get parts from a salvage yard--have you actually been to a real car salvage yard? You're not going to see any cars, in the same decade. If so, the parts are stripped clean before they even hit the yard. Let me know when you see a pristine 2016 sport hood readily available in a salvage yard, and ill eat my shoe. :)

    @stan23 Not quite pristine. A bit of work and paint from a salvage yard dealer in San Diego. The search continues...my goal is to find one by Slapsgiving and watch you eat your shoe :).
