I'm getting a vibrating sound that comes from my sunroof, when I open it up a bit, it stops, will tell Toyota when it's time to bring it in.

Only some squeaking from the suspension in the front and occasional clunk in the rear when going over bumps a certain way. Ive told the dealer and will have it looked at when I bring it in for an oil change. They are already aware of the same problem with several other tacos in my area.

Just picked mine up from the shop Thursday after a 3 week stint in the shop. Had to get a new dash module because my brake pedal was somehow related to my turn signals. They are paying one month of my truck payment so I'm not overly upset.

Given the 16 is much more truck than the older generations, you'd expect to pay more, no ? But thanks for your input.

The thread was about problems, I'm thinking huge or minor, so noises that shouldn't be there is a MINOR problem, I'm sure none of us gUrls are curled up in a fetal position in the corner of our garage crying about it, we are just mentioning it, ok man trucker!!! :)

I have this exact same issue. Back out of my driveway in the morning and when I shift into drive, I can feel the transmission shift but it takes a bit of throttle to start moving, and when it eventually does engage, it's a hard shift. Almost like the transmission pump isn't providing the clutch with enough oil until the RPMs are up. I am going to have dealer check and top off transmission oil when I bring it in next week and see if that resolves it.

My VIN begins with a 3.

The clock initially would not program as a connector was not plugged in to the display. After several trips in which the sales people couldn't find the problem, the service dept found the problem. At 5 weeks and almost 500 miles I'm very pleased with my Tacoma.

I have this issue as well. If I'm not careful, I can really cause a nasty pop once it finally goes into gear.

Aside from that, there is a VERY consistent and quite audible buzzing coming from my map lights. Drives me nuts.

    Other than that, no complaints.

Truck in shop for 8+ days. Entire front driveline being replaced and no parts available. Apparently the front axel/differential wasn't working properly since the day I drove it off the lot. I got stuck in my own, flat and snowy driveway and several other times and places in the two weeks i drove.

Tried Crawl Control to get unstuck. It just revs motor to 5.5 k and explodes driveshaft coupling and diff. Rear brakes also seized during this wicked explosion of undercarriage.

Had to drag it out with a wrecker, flat spotting the new Duratrac tires.
I think I heard a mouse fart when the wrecker pulled into the sales lot at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Grimaces and shock during the 30 minutes it took shake it off wrecker....

Dearship rented me a new F150. Tons of nearly excessive power, smooth ride and not stuck yet.
