    AC drain mod,
I have a pair of 2508 COHRS with 2" extended rods, and was looking at installing them in my 2019 DCSB OR, threw reading different forums, threads and cross referencing between the 2508 COHRS and 25001-119 looks like itll be a close match,

I'd have to purchase a top plate adapter from dirtkingfabrication, and fab up my own resi brackets, what are your proffesional/experienced opinions on that? If it's not feaseable I'll likely sell the 2508's and just purchase the 25001-119's, but looking at quite abit of money saved for this set up shipping to Canada, that's why I'm looking into it.
    Thanks in advance

After a few days, they’ve settled to right around a 2.5” lift. Loving the ride so far.

@AccuTune Offroad Thanks for the tip on checking the nitrogen level in regards to my topping out issue. I was having what seemed to me to be topping out issues only on my RF coilover even after taking out all preload. Both of my extended coilovers were at 21" or less and I still had thud/slam/harsh rebounds coming from just the right side. Shocks have only been on my truck for about 4,000 miles.

Luckily I found somebody in the Phoenix area that does nitrogen refills for super cheap. Low and behold (excuse the Curb Your Enthusiasm reference), my RF was down to about 120-130 PSI and the LF was perfect at 150 PSI. We set both coilovers to 150 PSI and so far so good. I have not had the chance to do some serious off-roading, but so far no issues driving over speed bumps and some rutted out forest roads.

I hope this is a permanent fix for my topping out issues. Fingers crossed.

I installed some King 2.5 600 lb/in remote reservoir extended travel coil overs, SPC UCAs, and a Dakar medium leaf packs 2 weekends ago on my 2020 OR (DYI). This is my very first experience with aftermarket suspension.

My initial experience was all road miles. I noticed a distinct different in the way the suspension handled carrying a 700 lb payload at hiway speeds. It felt more damped and controlled/solid in the rear. I barely noticed the extra weight compared to the day before carrying the same load on the same hiway on the stock rear suspension.

I took it off-road for 4-5 hours this past Saturday. Most of the wheeling was first gear 4lo maneuvering around and over rocks, trees, and iron mine mud. Ignoring added ground clearance, I noticed negligible difference vs the stock suspension in those conditions. I did find some more mellow trails where I could get up some speed over pot holes and whoops (4th/5th gear 4lo). In those conditions, I noticed some difference, but it wasn't like I transformed my truck into an off-road race machine. I could drive way faster over the same terrain in a Rzr; no comparison. Not that I was expecting to transform my truck into a Razr; it's just a point of comparison since I have driven a Razr recently.

The 3" of clearance I added with with a 2" suspension lift plus 33" tires was very noticeable. I'm still getting used to how much more stuff I can drive over without scraping the ground. It exceeded my expectations.

Overall, I don't think the $3500 (King) vs $1300 (OME) [my other plan] was worth it. YMMV.

They make Kings for my 3rd gen but not with remote reservoirs so I made my own.

Nice! Hopefully it’s a RC truck.

So don’t blast me. I truly want to know opinions and feedback as I am in the market for upgrading suspension in the next month or so. I see a lot of people going with Kings vs Fox. Yet, post after post I read that the QA and material of Fox are much better then Kings?

Is there a specific reason so many choose Kings over Fox?

I mean, don’t get me wrong, the anodized blue looks cool as shit. Lol. But I’ll be mostly mall crawling with armor and hwy driving with the once a month off-roading/overlanding. Not a lot of places to go here in DFW.

Would love some feedback and insight. As if what I read from quality Fox would be the no brainer.

Great brand, looks awesome. Usually quicker to get if you are in a hurry. Not everyone needs the best of the best, and Kings usually do great for most applications.

Haha thanks. I mean the blue does look awesome. Would look awesome parked in front of Target or homedepot.

Wanted to see since really only like a $400 dollar difference. The shorter time frame makes sense.

Will the standard 600 spring be ok and not sag when I add front bumper (100 pound), sliders (120 pound) and rear bumper (not sure of the weight). I have the trd skid also.

Should be ok. May have to just add a turn on the preload. If you plan on adding a winch down the line I would get the 650. Also with the 650 you will need less preload for your lift.
