1.5 what? Inches of lift? I don’t see how any reasonable lift in the rear would be incompatible with king coil overs.

Yes , inches of lift. Accutune's website and others have the 2.5 rears as only 0-1.5 inch of lift . I was told anything higher than 1.5 in the rear I would need he tundra spec'd rear.

I'm still not understanding you. By "2.5 rears" do you mean the King 2.5" rear shocks? If so, those do not provide any lift, however leaf springs like the Dakars can add lift.

What is a "tundra spec'd rear"?

2.5" is most likely referring to the diameter of the shock body, compared to a 2.0" shock. You are correct, shocks don't lift the vehicle, springs do. Tundra specd shock, we replace the bushings and sleeves to fit a Tacoma, however a longer bump stop will be required since they have a longer compressed length than a spec Tacoma rear shock.

Who are the best shops to get some tuned rear kings from? I reached out to @AccuTune Offroad, have not heard back yet but also would like to hear of some other options that people think highly of.

    Thanks my dudes

Ordered 2.5 King Remote Reservoir W/ Adjusters EXT w/ 700lb spring front and rear for my 3rd Gen Tacoma.
Ordered full hybrid front bumper , 10 weeks out...

I am going to being going back through all the pages in this thread but if anyone can answer that'll be cool too.

I want to go as high as possible with this setup (or atleast recommended by King), whats the max and what setup should I run in the back to level or lift?

I was thinking about getting 1.5" Icon ALL, would that be enough? Thanks!

Get a full leaf pack in the rear. AAL will be stiff and you’re doing yourself a disservice.
do you have full skids in the front? If not, 650 lb with the hybrid will do.

you’re going to have a stiff ride with 700 and AAL. But what do I know. I’m just some rando on the Internet.

I plan on running a winch and skid plates too so I think 700lbs should be ok.

Thanks for the heads up and the full leaf pack. Might go that route now
